IPPC Secretariat announces three calls for experts for CPM Focus Groups

Rome, 9 April 2021. Calls for experts for the three Focus Groups established by the Commission on Phytosanitary Measures at their fifteenth session (CPM-15) are available on the IPPC website. Candidates interested in applying for a place on a Focus Group can find qualifying criteria on https://www.ippc.int/en/calls/.

Experts for the three CPM Focus Groups should be qualified on issues relating to Climate Change and Phytosanitary Issues, Communications, and Implementation of the IPPC Framework’s 2020-2030 Development Agenda Items.

Requirements on making nominations, expertise qualifications, and composition and criteria for the selection of experts composing the three focus groups are in the announcement call. Nominations will be accepted from contracting parties national, regional plant protection organizations and relevant international entities.

17 May 2021 is the deadline to review and submit application criteria from The Terms Reference, Statement of Commitment, Nominee Details and Focus Group Call announcements.
