Upgrade of Electronic Import Permit System

Bahrain NPPO would like to inform all contracting parties that the upgrade phase of its electronic import permit system comes into effect on 18 May 2021. The upgrade phase includes, inter alia, a function to check the authenticity of permits by scanning a QR to validate. Therefore, the electronically issued permit does not need a stamp or a signature.
