papaya mealy bug cause serious damage on papaya during dry season. this pest never known before Februari 2008, the most possibly this pest was introduced into indonesia through the importation of ornamental plants.

serious damage on papaya in dry season, limited distribution only in Bogor, West Java Province. status of pest is under official control.
