Standards Committee

The Standards Committee (SC) will meet to review and discuss revised draft standards prepared by the SC working group (SC-7). In addition they will also consider the original country comments on a case by case basis.

The drafts standards to be discussed at the SC are: - Amendments to ISPM No. 5; - Guidelines for consignments in transit; - Guidelines for inspection of consignments; - Revision of ISPM No. 3; - Guidelines on the concept of equivalence of phytosanitary measures and its application in international trade; - Requirements for the establishment, maintenance and verification of areas of low pest prevalence.
