Draft ISPMs for adoption at CPM-20 (2026) posted. Call for objections opened.

The IPPC Secretariat is pleased to announce that the draft International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures (ISPMs) to be presented for adoption at the 20th Session of the Commission for Phytosanitary Measures (CPM-20) in March 2026, are now publicly available on the IPPC website here. Attachments to the draft standards are available here, under agenda item 11.

Contracting parties wishing to submit an objection should do so by 16 February 2026, 12:00 (GMT+1). Objections must include a technical justification as well as suggestions for improving the draft ISPM. Please refer to the IPPC webpage on Current objections to the adoption of ISPMs for detailed guidance on the required procedure.
