The IPPC International Symposium for Pest Free Areas (PFAs) and Surveillance was held in Shizuoka, Japan from 28 October to 1 November 2019, bringing together representatives of the global phytosanitary community.
The event was organized by the IPPC Secretariat with the financial support of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC), the European Commission (EC), and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fishery of Japan (MAFF).
