SAG lifted the provisions detailed in Letter No. 1747 of 2020, which established facilities for the delivery of the original phytosanitary certificates in the event of the contingency caused by the COVID-19 virus, and that it basically consisted of the possibility for the NPPOs to send the scanned images of the phytosanitary certificates by email to continue with the import procedures for forestry and agricultural products, and subsequently deliver the documents in original. This is due to the fact that the worldwide trend is to return to normality, and that the airline companies and Courier services are working without problems.
