Résumé

Since decades The Danish PPO has carried out official inspections of all Danish grown seed potatoes. Also official monitoring surveys in the Danish seed and ware potato production have been carried out systematically for decades.

Based on the results of the inspections and surveys during the last 8 years it is concluded, that Clavibacter michiganensis ssp. sepedonicus is to be considered eradicated in Denmark.

This status is considered achieved by not least the positive effects of running a preventive meristem propagation programme, based on EPPO certification standards, for the multiplication of Danish seed potatoes.
