Résumé

A single male Queensland fruit fly was detected in a surveillance trap in a residential suburb of Auckland city, NZ. The NZ Ministry for Primary Industries is undertaking a follow-up investigation including intensified trapping and fruit monitoring (ref. ISPM #26) to determine if additional flies are present.

Only one individual male fly has been detected. NZ is following up with intensive trapping and fruit monitoring to find if additional flies are present.
