Résumé

Puccinia psidii is a regulated quarantine pest in Singapore. A detection survey was initiated from Feb 2012 to Nov 2013 targeting mainly the Myrtaceae family in Singapore with a sample size of 373. Out of a total of 375 samples collected comprising of 72% (270 samples) Syzygium spp.(consisting of at least 13 different species) with the rest being Acacia spp., Callistemon citrinus, C. viminalis, Eucalyptus platyphylla, E. alba, Melaleuca cajuputi, M. viridiflora, Psidium guajava and Leptospermum brachyandrum, Puccinia psidii was not detected. The status of this fungal pathogen in Singapore: Absent: no pest records (confirmed by survey)
