Résumé

A survey was done and the virus was detected during laboratory tests on plant material showing visual symptoms. A PRA is currently in progress to the determine the Regulated Non-Quarantine Pest status of the pepper mild mottle tobamovirus in South Africa.

Spread to other hosts such as Capsicum varieties, Lycopersicon, Nicotiana spp.
